Should The Republican Party Find A Leader With Moderate Beliefs, Or A Leader With Extreme Right Wing Beliefs?

The Republican Party seems to be without a general leader. Are they better off with a moderate leader, who can appeal to both sides, or a very right wing leader, to stand up for extreme right wing ideals, in a potentially left wing country?|||They can only win appealing to moderates, the extremist will always be there for them. To not compromise the republican traditional platform by appealing to moderates will be interesting to see.|||A leader who believes in the Constitution, the principles and limits of the Constitution and who believes that it is the people, not the government, that make this country great and prosperous.

Someone who prefers to support individual liberty instead of a larger and more powerful government.

Someone who knows that dependence upon government is ultimately harmful not only to the country, but to the human psyche.

If what the founding fathers believed is "extreme right wing", then I guess that's what we need.|||Neither... I think we need to find a leader with a more classical conservative leanings.... we went for moderate *cough* McCain *cough* and look what happened... We need a true conservative... not a right wing neo-conservative like Pres. Bush either... :/|||The Republicans, like the Democrats, need someone who will follow the Constitution. Sadly, this will not happen in our lifetimes.|||The problem with the Republican party, is that their leader is Ronald Reagan........and he's dead. It doesn't help them that they glorify him when all of his policies have been proven to be a bust.|||I hope they find a leader with extreme right-wing (or, as they would say, "true conservative") beliefs.

But then, I'm a Democrat and I want to keep on winning.|||We need someone like Ron Paul. A true Conservative.

Less Gov't

No Bailouts

Less Taxes|||we need a leader?....that's news to me, most republicans have minds of their own,......we don't need a messiah like liberals to follow....republicans are leaders not followers.|||At this point it is out of their hands. They've turned into a joke, and the joke's on them. 鈭犅?
