Does a political party leader in the UK get a salary from his party?

Basically I was wondering how Political parties work. Leaders of political parties such as the Lib Dems only recieve an MP's salary, but by virtue of them being leaders of political parties, they do so much more and I was wondering the leaders of political parties in the UK are eligible to recieve salaries from their parties.|||No.
